It is with profound sadness that I must report the death of Prof. Ken Pearson.Ken past away on Friday (06/04/12) after being ill for sometime. The funeral will be held at St. Saviour's Presbytarian Church in Randesfontein, Midrand South Africa on Thursday, 12th April at 14.30. Ken is survived by his wife Lorna and his daughters Penny and Morag. Prof Philip Bruce President, BAF
The British Academy of Fencing (BAF) is the acknowledged teaching organisation for training fencing coaches in the United Kingdom. The Academy has its roots steeped in history and traces its charter back to Henry VIII. We provide a comprehensive programme of support and training for fencing coaches, where well established and recognised skills are practised alongside an understanding of the needs of modern coaches with today's competitive fencers.
We provide a system of training for coaches of all levels from beginner to full Fencing Master and can provide all the help that is needed in becoming a fencing coach.
